A printed and signed AST form (Autorisation de Sortie du Territoire) for unaccompanied minors, along with copies of parents’ ID cards and the family record book and/or a court decision if applicable
Pocket money for transportation in the U.S. (Uber, bus, subway), meals, and personal shopping
Your medication, if you’re under treatment (note: liquids over 100ml must go in checked luggage)
Laundry detergent pods, if you plan to use the washing machines at the accommodation (about 1.75 per wash and2 for drying)
A U.S. plug adapter (costs between €5 and €15 online)
A padlock for lockers in your room
