ASPTT Caen Basketball, in partnership with Association Quartier Ouest, is proud to announce the first edition of its youth tournament, which will take place on June 5–6, 2027, in Caen and Hérouville-Saint-Clair, in Normandy, France 🇫🇷 .
The aim of this tournament is to offer young basketball players a unique opportunity to showcase their talent and continue developing their skills. It seeks to create a true platform for competition and sharing, promoting access to basketball while strengthening connections between clubs and communities around this unifying sport.
PRESENTATION
Our organization is recognized both nationally and internationally for the organization of basketball events.
Tournament Format
The tournament will be played in a 5-on-5 format, with U13, U15, and U18 boys categories, bringing together 16 teams per category. The event is open to clubs and associations competing at regional and national levels.
Games will be played in 2 x 10-minute halves, with each team guaranteed a minimum of 6 to 7 games over the weekend.
Note: Departmental-level teams that feel ready to compete at this level are also welcome.
Contest
To make the event even more exciting, participants will enjoy a wide range of activities throughout the tournament, including:
- Dunk contest
- 3-point shooting contest
- 1-on-1 tournament
Location
The tournament will take place across 3 venues, featuring 6 indoor courts located approximately 5 minutes apart by car. This setup ensures smooth scheduling and optimal conditions for players and teams.

- 10 minutes from Ouistreham beach
- 1 hour 30 minutes from Rennes and Rouen
- 2 hours 30 minutes from Paris and Nantes
- 3 hours from Tours and Angers
- 3 hours 30 minutes from Lille and Orléans

ASPTT Caen Basketball is a dynamic and development-focused club, deeply rooted in the sporting life of Caen. With more than 250 licensed players and 19 teams competing in championships ranging from departmental to regional level, the club welcomes players of all ages and skill levels.

Association Quartier Ouest, based in Normandy, is a recognized organization specializing in the management of basketball events. With more than 15 years of experience, it brings together amateur and professional players from all over the world. Through its international tournament and various initiatives (training camps, trips to the USA, and community projects), the association actively contributes to the development and promotion of basketball both in France and internationally.
